I personally think this is a very nice phone. I like the look of the phone over the w890. I didn't dig the gold call/send buttons, and the Back and C key are back unlike the w890 where the Back key was replaced with the shortcut key.

I can't wait. I'm going to get it to replace my w810i. I was gunning for a w890, but this thing is practically the same specs as the w890.

I don't need 3G or the 3G camera.

It's a shame to lose the flash and autofocus, but judging from the preview, GSMArena said the camera is not that bad.

My main concern is how will the vibration and speaker be? The main reason I am slightly not sure on the w890 is I read that the vibration is incredibly weak, and the speaker isn't too good even for ringtones. I'm not using the speaker to blast music out, but I like having the ringtones on when I'm outside or in the street. I need vibration for indoors. I don't want something where it will generate lots of missed calls/msgs in your pocket/jacket pocket.

So what do you think about my main concerns?

Also, it'll be definitely cheaper which is a PLUS.

I just hope it comes out in early Q4, as my contract ends early December and I need to switch.

Is there nothing that is really a successor (worthy one) to the w810i that combines best form, features, function?
